The Durato Bombe is collected from 626 farmers in Durato of Bombe Kebele (village) in the Bensa Woreda (district) of the Sidama zone. This coffee is grown on the mountain of Bombe, its namesake. The Kontama mill sun dries the whole cherry for 10-15 days creating a fruit-forward and complex flavor profile, full of watermelon, pomegranate, and pineapple in your cup. We're tasting the sweet notes of those fruits in the coffee, not necessarily the acidic pineapple notes.
The best way to brew this up is going to be as a pour-over so you can keep all of those fruit notes prominent! We do recommend that you grind this just a notch or two more coarse than you typically grind.
